PVI lacrosse competes in two very competitive conferences: Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) and the Virginia Independent School Conference (VIS). The team plays an 18 game regular season schedule and also participates in 2 playoffs (WCAC, VIS). Members of our boys lacrosse program not only work throughout the year improving their lacrosse skills, but are very active in the community supporting local and national charities (Special Olympics of Virginia, Operation Warrior Outreach, Food Drive for Haiti, Medical Missionaries).

Our Boys Lacrosse Program collected donated goods and money (via generous contributions and Krispy Kreme Donuts sales at PVI football games) to support our troops over the holidays.
We held our annual holiday Operation Warrior Outreach (OWO) packing party last Monday, Dec 8. Thanks to generous contributions from generous PVI students, staff, friends of PVI lacrosse, we were able to prepare 100 care packages to ship to two remotely deployed military units in Afghanistan.
We had 2 very special guests (both US Naval Academy graduates- class of 1971) join us at our OWO packing party to speak on behalf of our military men and women and describe the sacrifice and commitment of those serving their country and what it means to be a great teammate and leader... Lt Gen John Sattler, USMC retired and Mr Bill Hoover, former US Navy officer and past CEO and current Chairman of American Systems Corp (ASC).
On behalf of our Boys Lacrosse Program and those troops who are deployed, away from their families and loved ones, to protect our freedoms... We thank you for your generous support and wish you and yours a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!! #212
